Mission Statement -

The goal of the Human Support Services (HHS) Committee is to:

• educate and promote self-reliance in utilizing Human Support Resources in the community;
• investigate, promote and provide input to the California Department of Education/WorkAbility I statewide data-base which can be utilized at local levels, focusing on resources for transition services;
• continue inservice on current trends in transition with education staff, across agencies, students/parents;
• research and disseminate model practices of interagency collaborative efforts, which promote a more efficient, cost effective, delivery system.
